Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used by the Godforge Creator Hub at creators.godforge.gg (the "Service") and how you can manage them. It supplements the Privacy Policy and uses the same definitions.

We use only the cookies and storage entries strictly needed to run the Service. We do not run analytics, marketing, or advertising cookies by default. If we ever introduce optional cookies in those categories, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting them.

Strictly-necessary cookies we set

These cookies are needed to authenticate you, hold the OAuth flow state, and remember your cookie-preference choice. You cannot turn them off without breaking sign-in.

  • creator_hub_session — encrypted iron-session cookie that holds your authenticated session. Set when you sign in. The default lifetime follows the iron-session configuration on the deployment; the cookie is removed when you sign out or when the session expires. The cookie value is sealed and signed; it is not readable by JavaScript.

  • ch_temp_auth — short-lived (thirty minutes) cookie set during the apply flow to hold the OAuth state across the redirect to the provider and back. It is cleared once your application is submitted.

  • ch_temp_invite — short-lived (thirty minutes) cookie set when you accept a staff invitation, used to hold the OAuth state across the redirect to the provider and back. It is cleared once the invitation is accepted.

Local storage we use

  • ch-cookie-consent — a localStorage entry that records your choice on the cookie banner. It is set the first time you respond to the banner and remains until you clear your browser storage. It is technically not a cookie but is included here for clarity.

Cookies set by sign-in providers

When you sign in with Google, Apple, or Discord, those providers may set cookies on their own domains as part of the authentication exchange. We do not control those cookies and they are governed by the provider’s own privacy and cookie policies. The Fateless ID flow uses Microsoft Azure PlayFab and may set cookies on Microsoft-controlled domains.

Analytics, marketing, and advertising

The Service does not currently use analytics, marketing, or advertising cookies. We do not embed third-party trackers, social-media pixels, or remarketing tags. If that ever changes, we will update this policy, expand the cookie banner, and ask for your consent before any optional cookies are set.

Managing cookies

You can manage cookies in your browser settings:

Blocking the strictly-necessary cookies listed above will prevent you from signing in.

You can clear your cookie-preference choice by deleting localStorage for creators.godforge.gg in your browser settings. The cookie banner will then ask you again the next time you visit.
